What’s Zeb Viksit Bharat<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Zebrafish Viksit Bharat<\/strong> is an initiative by Zebrafish India<\/strong> to support our Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister\u2019s vision of making Bharat a developed nation by 2047.
Through this program, we aim to promote the zebrafish model alongside traditional models like mice<\/strong>, reaching every biotech, pharma, and science college across the country.
Our goal is to introduce every deserving student to this versatile model<\/strong>, inspiring the next generation to unlock the secrets of regenerative science. This initiative represents our commitment to giving back to society<\/strong> while fostering innovation and scientific excellence in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Air Force Army Navy (AAN) Initiative <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In honor of my father, Late Sqn Ldr Dr. Ravi Kumar Gupta<\/strong>, an AFMC graduate who proudly served the Indian Air Force, Zebrafish India<\/strong> is offering our Portable Shree Ganesha Series 3-Tier Zebrafish Housing System<\/strong> completely free of cost<\/strong> to the Indian Air Force, Army, and Navy.
Any medical institution under these services can request a 3-tier zebrafish housing system<\/strong> through their Commanding Officer.
We will provide, install, and train personnel<\/strong>, helping the institution establish a fully functional zebrafish research facility at no charge<\/strong>.
This initiative reflects our commitment to support defense medical research<\/strong> and honor the legacy of a life dedicated to service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We aim at increasing the adoption of zebrafish model in Biotech, Zoology, Life Sciences and Pharma Education. Each of our initiatives have a specific protocol and procedure to apply. Kindly go through the application procedure and we shall welcome you for this initiative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We just request you to kindly write a request letter through your Commanding Officer AMC for the Insitute to request a system and we shall come running to you for taking the request ahead and doing the needful. In honor of our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, and his vision for a Viksit Bharat 2047<\/strong> Zebrafish India proudly launches the Namo Zeb Initiative<\/strong>, a program dedicated to supporting India\u2019s progress toward scientific and technological self-reliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this initiative, all Central Government-run Institutes of Eminence<\/strong> will receive a 10% additional discount<\/strong> on any purchase of Zebrafish India products. This Namo Zeb Discount<\/strong> will be provided over and above<\/strong> existing purchase mechanisms \u2014 whether through tenders, direct purchases, GEM<\/strong>, or CPPP portals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Institutions can avail this benefit by simply submitting a formal request from the Purchase Head<\/strong> citing the Namo Zeb Offer<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kiran Kanya Shodh Sahyog<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Empowering Women Researchers in Zebrafish Science<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kiran Kanya Shodh Sahyog<\/strong> initiative is designed to support women Ph.D. scholars in undertaking zebrafish-based research at our Ravi R&D Zebrafish Laboratory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under this program, we provide comprehensive support including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Animal husbandry resources<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Study design and development assistance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Complete study execution<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    All projects will be carried out only after receiving the necessary approvals<\/strong> from the scholar\u2019s host institution, including clearance from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC)<\/strong> and Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Participating institutions are required to provide only the consumables<\/strong> needed for the study, while the remaining infrastructure and technical support will be facilitated by us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This initiative is dedicated to my mother Dr. Kiran Gupta<\/strong>, whose lifelong commitment to science and education inspires our mission.       • Components that can be conducted at Zebrafish India.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Requirements or support needed from your end .(Concerned Department and University)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        A detailed recommendation will be shared after this review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 3: Joint Online Discussion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Once the proposal is reviewed, we will schedule a joint online meeting<\/strong> between you, your department representative, and our scientific team.
        This meeting will help finalize the scope, methods, and responsibilities of both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 4: Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Following Joint Online Meeting and agreement to support your study, we will send a draft MOU outlining the collaboration framework and responsibilities. Post finalisation of mutual agreement between Zebrafish India and your institution, the study will be initiated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Step 5: Commencement of Research<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        After the MOU is signed, the research project will begin at the Zebrafish India \u2013 Ravi R&D Center<\/strong> under the guidance of our scientific team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Please Note – Zebrafish India will provide complete animal husbandry support, Microinjection and Neuroscience lab Support. Currently we dont have a IAEC so, we will require a NOC \/ Permission to undertake the study if the study is for 5 days post fertalisation and on adult Zebrafish. For any studies pre 5 days, no ethical approval is required. If your. We shall follow all requisite guidelines and protcols as per CCSEA and will require the needful permission before commencement of study at our Ravi R&D lab. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Only 2 or 3 Candidates per year will be supported thorugh this program. Candidates must be PhD scholars with a govt approved University or approved Insitute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Matsya Pharma Shodh Abhiyan<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

        Bridging Pharmacy Education with Zebrafish Innovation<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        A Matsya2Medicine Initiative by Zebrafish India<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

        The Matsya Pharma Shodh Abhiyan<\/em>, under the Matsya2Medicine<\/strong> initiative, aims to enable pharmacy institutions to integrate zebrafish models into pharmacological, toxicological, and drug discovery research. Through a structured program offering subsidized zebrafish housing systems<\/strong>, faculty development training<\/strong>, and technical collaboration<\/strong>, this initiative supports the establishment of zebrafish-based research facilities within academic campuses.
        Participating colleges receive mentorship in study design, access to training modules, and recognition as Matsya2Medicine Partner Institutes<\/em>.
        Adopting the zebrafish model provides a cost-effective, ethical, and translational platform to advance experimental pharmacology and strengthen institutional research capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Institutions enrolled under this program receive a 15% direct benefit through No-Profit No-Loss pricing<\/strong>, one week of free faculty training<\/strong> at the Ravi R&D Zebrafish Laboratory, and technical support for study execution<\/strong>. Colleges joining the initiative are also recognized as Matsya2Medicine Partner Institutes<\/em>, contributing to a growing national network of zebrafish-enabled pharmacy schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        With over 4500 Pharmacy college in India, and almost 95% having Rat and Mouse Model, we feedl appaled by the low adoption of Zebrafish Model (less than 1 %). This initiative aims at establishing 8 -12 Zonal Pharmacy Matsya 2 Medicine Shod Network Partners – Under this program we shall provide a Zebrafish Housing System at NPNL (NO PROFIT NO LOSS), train the faculty at site as well as in our lab at Navi Mumbai. Guide and do hand holding for the first 2\/3 study programs, write study propsals, guide on applying for grants, help in scientific writing till paper publishing. We have an expert panel who will guide the Network Matsya 2 Medicine Partners. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
